1. About us
Stone Osteopaths (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an osteopathic practice based at 19 Lichfield Street, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8NA. Our practitioners are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and are required to practise within the GOsC Osteopathic Practice Standards.
2. Bookings & appointments
Appointments are booked through our secure third-party booking system, Fresha. By making a booking, you accept these terms together with Fresha's own terms of service and privacy policy.
- You must provide accurate personal information when booking.
- Paediatric appointments require a parent or legal guardian to be present throughout.
- We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule or terminate treatment where clinically appropriate.
3. Cancellations & late arrivals
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may forfeit any deposit paid (see our refund policy).
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Appointments cannot always be extended and may need to be rebooked.
4. Fees & payment
Current fees are listed on our Services page and are confirmed at the point of booking via Fresha. Payment is taken in line with our booking system; deposits may be required to secure your appointment.
5. Medical information & informed consent
You agree to provide accurate, complete medical information at your consultation. Treatment will only proceed once you have given informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any point during a session.
Osteopathic care is a complement to, not a replacement for, advice and treatment from your GP or other healthcare professionals. Always seek medical advice for any urgent or serious concern.
6. Children & safeguarding
For patients aged under 18, a parent or legal guardian must remain present throughout the appointment. We follow safeguarding standards in line with GOsC and UK statutory guidance.
7. Conduct in the clinic
We aim to provide a calm, respectful environment for everyone. We may decline or end a session where conduct is unsafe, abusive or otherwise inappropriate.
