Our paediatric appointments are calm, unhurried and centred around you and your child. We take time to listen, explain and use the softest, most considered techniques.

What to expect

A calm, family-led visit.

Every appointment moves at your pace — never rushed, always centred around you and your child. We use the softest, most considered hands-on techniques, and many babies sleep through their session.

You're welcome to bring siblings, feed and take breaks as needed. There is always time to ask anything, and we'll explain what we're doing and why, every step of the way.

How a session unfolds

Four gentle steps, never rushed.

From the moment you arrive to the plan you leave with — here's how each paediatric visit flows.

  1. Step 1

    A warm welcome

Settle in, meet us properly and have a relaxed chat in a quiet, family-friendly space.

  2. Step 2

    Listening first

We talk through your history, observations and questions — never rushing this part.

  3. Step 3

    Gentle assessment

A soft, considered hands-on assessment, fully explained as we go. You stay alongside your child.

  4. Step 4

    A plan, together

We agree what feels right — book again, watchful waiting, or a referral on to your GP.

Your questions, answered.

A note for parents. Osteopathy is a complement to, not a replacement for, your child's medical care. We work alongside GPs, midwives and health visitors and will always recommend you see your GP for any medical concerns.
